I research how structured representations can improve information retrieval over large unstructured corpora. I developed and evaluated a system that automatically transforms raw text into structured, queryable knowledge and combines it with semantic retrieval, while also building the large-scale experimentation infrastructure needed to test the approach across billions of tokens, multiple datasets, and repeated trials.

LLM Research Assistant

I studied the optimization behavior of early-fusion multimodal language models, with a particular focus on how low-rank optimization affects gradient interactions between image and text modalities. I designed the experimental and evaluation pipeline, ran downstream analyses, and contributed the resulting findings to a co-authored workshop paper.

Software Developer Intern

I worked across the full software and AI product stack, taking systems from initial design through production deployment. My work ranged from owning the development of a global B2B marketplace and improving the reliability of core backend systems to building production AI agents, retrieval systems, and automation tools that helped employees interact with enterprise data and automate previously manual workflows.
